Common questions

Where is my order? I want to return or exchange something.

Orders don't go through Stumble. When you tap to buy, you leave the app and land on the brand's own website, and that is where the purchase happens. We never see the order and never handle payment.

So returns, exchanges, shipping, and refunds all go to the brand you bought from, not to us. Their order confirmation email is the fastest way in: it has their support address and their returns policy.

If you can't work out which brand it was, email hello@shopstumble.com and we will help you track them down.

How do I delete my account?

In the app: Profile tab → "delete account" → confirm.

It is immediate and permanent. There is no grace period and no way for us to bring it back. It removes your profile, saved pieces, browsing history, cart, friends, matches, and the reactions and messages on them. Because matches are shared between two people, yours also disappear from the other person's board.

Signing up again with the same phone number gives you a brand new, empty account, not the old one. There is more detail in the privacy policy.

Why do I need to give a phone number?

Two reasons. It is how signing in works, and it is how friends find you on Stumble.

Do I have to share my contacts?

No. It is optional, and the rest of the app works normally if you decline.

If you do use it, it is only to find friends who are already on Stumble. The numbers are checked once against existing accounts and never stored. Here is exactly what happens to them.

How do I remove a friend?

From the friends tab.

How do I turn off notifications?

In iOS, not in the app: Settings → Notifications → Stumble.
